The only criticism we have is the decor and furnishings in the rooms are not just tired but exhausted. Needs redecorated!! That’s the only thing that let it down! The food was excellent!

This hostelry is actually located in Kircowan with easy access to Wigtown for the book festival as well as fishing and hunting

The buses aren't reliable re carrying bikes, so it is hard to plan in advance.
