Walking in there is a smell; a strong smell like Febreze, however, it is there scent. Their very own scent. Designed to bother asthmatics. One should be warned. It is awful, fills your lungs and mouth with the taste of it. I would like to know what it is, because I wasn't warned and am sure it is poison. Also, the towels were shredded and see through? Why? I expect that at a cheap motel. Can't stay where they have this scent. Someone didn't think that through at all!

I loved the cleanliness and ambiance of the hotel room. The room that we had was spacious, bright and warm. The front desk staff was respectful and informative. I will definitely be back during my future stays in Newport Beach. The room was missing a fire detector, but the technician came to the room with 5 mins and fixed it. Everyone was professional. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel itself and staff were fine. It’s the valet company used by the hotel that is separate from hotel. My car was damaged by a luggage cart falling from the curb onto my car (missing my head by 6 inches) breaking the tailgate door and rear lights. After submitting a claim for the damages, I received notice (3 weeks later) that they aren’t covering the costs to repair my car. This is unacceptable, unprofessional and actions out of bad faith. Because of having to use Towne Park Valet when staying at the hotel, I will no longer stay at the hotel.
