Perfect location for visiting the city (within 10-15 minutes walk of most key attractions). Easy to access main routes in and out of the city for further exploring. Very clean unit. Comfortable beds. Great spot. Will be returning for our next visit.

Dawson Motel is a clean and comfortable motel. From my bedroom, I had views of the sea. Friendly, helpful staff. I would recommended this motel in New Plymouth.

The traffic can get noisy as of busy road. Monday morning a construction sight had noisy trucks and fortcliffs. So best to stay friday and saturday night. Unless a heavy sleeper. Nice and clean. Do need some upgrades for electric jug and the mugs were very small. The sheets were not very soft but other than that very pleased and nice services. Very clean and tidy.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, adding to a pleasant stay. The rooms were serviced daily and were quite quiet, comfortable and spacious with a modern feel. Conveniently placed, shopping and restaurants were close by. The outdoor activities were also close, as well as the Coastal Walk.
