We enjoy staying at the Carriage House very much! The owners and staff are very attentive and responsive. The rooms are very fresh clean. The beds are a pleasure to sleep in after a long drive it working day. We stay here all the time when we come to Hamden to visit family.

Our stay here was amazing! The room was perfect for us. It was clean and comfortable, had so many extras, and was perfectly located near everything we needed. The owners are amazing to deal with (very accessible) and we really appreciated the contactless check in, so simple. No question we will be returning. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. 🙂

I had not stayed here before, but was able to secure a reservation for one night. The outside is a motel, but the room was more like a hotel. Beautiful and spacious and very clean. I was very happy overall and will likely book again sometime.

We had a great stay! The desk attendant was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was exceptionally clean and had a pleasing style to the decor. The climate control unit worked perfectly and was quiet. Parking was easy and I think we took twenty steps to our room. Great room at a great price!

We loved our stay for the price! Modern and clean with nice taste in decorating. Bonus was it was walkable distance to restaurants and less than two minutes from where our daughter lives. Would have liked to have felt a bit safer with a deadbolt lock on the door.

Only problem was the lighting. Room very dark. Could not work on the bed (bad back). Short small lights don't cast light. One tall one, the same.

The updates to the rooms are beautiful and staff very responsive and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the space used well, with a coffee maker, small fridge, and microwave. The bathroom shower was very accessible and nice but very easy to flood the floor. i would suggest that with the wonderful accessible shower, instead of a curtain which they have, a door would be better. I know sort of expensive but would be much better for the guest and preserve the quality of the place over time.
