"Great property, 4 star quality. Grounds are beautiful, food is great! But it’s expensive, the rooms with pool are great, but the pools are not heated, so if you coming in lower temp dates, 80-85 pools are cool, including the personal and common pools. "

"Rooms were basic but very clean suited us just fine. The bed was horribly hard and uncomfortable; we have stayed at many Caribbean hotels and know not to expect super comfy beds but this one I think was hardest and most uncomfortable. Staff were very sweet and accommodating. The private beach area was very nice with use of chairs and umbrella. Nice location near the strip for many food options!"

"At first arrival we thought it was a little “rough”, but after seeing other places we could have stayed, this was a great place for the price. Best part was it was within walking distance of many restaurants, the Marriott resort and the “strip” (Caribbean beach with restaurants)… we will stay there again for the value."

"The Koi is a decent hotel to stay. Staff are friendly, and the pool area is beautiful. We were there for 5 nights and our room was never replenished for coffee, water, or soap. The mugs in the room were only rinsed and put back. The hotel is waterfront, but there is a barrier and it is not accessible. They do have a shuttle to another beach, but since we had a car we just drove around ourselves. There is not much within walking distance. "

"The hotel is next to Port Zante and all the tourists stores for the cruise ships. Good downtown location. Two minute walk to the Ram's large grocery store. My room was large and all the rooms come with a mini kitchen. It was stocked with dishes, glasses, pans, knives, silverware, electric stove, large fridge. The AC is in the ceiling, quiet, and it kept the room cold. My room faced the main street, Bay Road. But, with the windows closed it was quiet. I think it's the best downtown Basseterre...
