"All of the staff at the Villa Flamenca were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great! We like walking, and everything was close enough to walk to, including the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We also had a meal at the hotel restaurant and it was great. They offer a good happy hour and we liked the nachos. We got the basic room and it was small, but that’s common in Spain so we are used to that. It was clean, which is what we care about most. "Our stay was great. I would recommend this hotel! Very walkable to bus, sites and restaurants! Ladies at the desk were very kind and welcoming! Allowed us to store luggage before and after check in/out! Best bed I’ve ever slept in Europe!!!!! Nice balcony. No refrigerator but that was ok. We would stay again! Very clean!!!!!"

"The Parador in Nerja is one of our favourite places in Spain. We have stayed there twice and we always visit either for a drink or a meal even when we are not staying there. Everything is perfect. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the garden, sea and mountains is magical. It is so relaxing listening to the sound of the sea and taking in the scenery. We will return before the two year closure in October 2025. Thank you for a brilliant time."

"The property had a fully equipped kitchenette and washing machine in the showeroom. No bath unfortunately and mould around shower door. Back bedroom smelled of damp, bed a bit uncomfortable but all clean. The private balcony was large, had sunbeds, two tables and superb views of the town and sea. The area around the property is wonderful if not a bit hilly. Overall the property is old and quite tired but you get value for money.
