Confused

Late check in. Had to get keys from a hotel. Person not very friendly. Also had to get a 2nd taxi to our apartment as place so huge and details of it were very unclear. The security man was very helpful even though he had only a little English and we had a little Spanish. Number on key was 216 but apartment number was 7A!!!

holiday on the sun

The apartment was very nice although the balcony was very small. The servicing of the apartment was really good and the surroundings were attractive, the bar was near our apartment and served english food, if that is what you want. The main downside was that it was a half hour walk into Nerja and the journey back was all up hill. However if the walking doesn't bother you then it is fine. I would use this booking again.

Felaktig info.

Har bara en anmärkning. I beskrivningen av hotellet stod det att det var gratis wi-fi i alla rum. Tyvärr stämde inte det. Det var bara i receptionen det var så. 10 Euro för en vecka kostade det att få tillgång till wi-fi på rummet. Tråkigt !! I övrigt jättefint boende !

Repeat visitor to a great complex

Regular returning visitor to Capistrano Village. Nice unit this time with sunny terrace, well equipped and spotlessly clean (as always). For some the hill may become too much of a walk, especially in the Summer, but taxis are easy to find and relatively cheap in Nerja. Also, the Urban bus can take you up there for just 60 cents - but they don't run late in the winter months

Mycket trevlig ställe. Vackert område. Personal i receptionen var tyvärr inte trevlig. Очень красивое место. Нам очень понравилось. Рядом супермаркет. Все покупали там. Персонал на ресепшион был очень грубыи, увы. Но нам это не испорило отдых.

scomodo da raggiungere e no wifi

Nell' appartamento non è presente wifi che invece si trova nella zona della reception che è distante 1,4 km(l'area wifi si trova in una hall all'aperto quindi bisogna sperare che sia una giornata calda)..per raggiungere l'appartamento bisogna percorrere 300 mt a piedi( non si può arrivare direttamente con l'auto che va lasciata parcheggiata in strada) tramite un viottolo in salita e stretto..con le borse della spesa o la pioggia o dei bambini diventa veramente difficoltoso. L'appartamento era pulito e attrezzato di tutto (anche se la lavatrice non funzionava)e offre una bella vista sul Mediterraneo

wonderful stay.

The whole complex is so pretty, clean and well kept. Flowers, trees and lawns all immaculate, so were the swimming pools though too cold to swim in at this time of year.

Bra vistelse i capistrano village. Negativt med lägenheten var de mycket slitna möblerna med skynken över. Ej rena. Fint badrum. Mycket jobbig väg till stranden. Branta backar. Fint område med pooler och enklare restaurang.

Fijn en rustig verblijf.

Goed en ruim appartement, inrichting wat verouderd maar keuken en badkamer prima. Geen koffieapparaat, jammer. Geen WiFi, kan in deze tijd eigenlijk ook niet meer. Ligging een beetje achteraf, maar wel heerlijk rustig, wel een auto nodig.

Short break

A short break in Nerja for a birthday celebration. There was a problem with the location if the apartment but it was resolved quickly and efficiently. Located reasonably close to town yet quiet and peaceful would certainly return and use Hotels.Com again.

Group of Friends with Kids

Really beautiful village of private villas. We were at the very top on the hill. About a 30 min walk to the main town and a 5 minute walk to the pool area. It was a bit difficult to find where you actually check in, and we asked for the villa to be close to our friends but the local company said Hotels.com didn't tell them this. The check-in man was fairly rude. The villa was very big, two bedrooms and very clean. It was quite out-dated though and the beds were very uncomfortable. We only stayed for 4 nights so could up with it. It's a good location for a quiet holiday, especially if you have young kids / babies. Teenagers would be very bored as nothing to do on site.

Positivt ophold. Vi fik anvist et hus i 2 etager, som lå for sig selv, med busholdeplads lige uden for hoveddøren. Stor terrasse med fantastisk udsigt over Nerja og Middelhavet.Stille og roligt område. Desværre ingen aircondition, men ellers var huset fint udstyret inkl. vaskemaskine. Skift af håndklæder midt på ugen, ingen rengøring eller ekstra toiletpapir/køkkenrulle. Satelit tv med skandinaviske kanaler. WiFi kun ved poolen/receptionen som fungerede dårligt 3 pools, men kun ved receptionen, dvs. et godt stykke fra vores hus.Desværre er der mange baderestriktioner, så det kan være lidt svært for børn at udfolde sig. Liggestole koster EUR 3,- pr. stk. Dog er der livredder, bar og restaurant. Terrænet er meget kuperet, så det er næsten et must at have bil.Lå ikke i gå afstand til supermarked og restauranter. Kritik punkt at der ikke er en døgn bemandet reception i tilfælde af problemer, som ikke involvere politi el.lign. Desværre opdagede vi, sent om aftenen på ankomstdagen, at der ikke var redt op til alle 4 personer og at der manglede håndklæder til 2 personer. Hvilket ikke blev løst for næste eftermiddag.

Beautiful Nerja

Lovely small villa on the San Juan capistrano site, with bus stop right outside (hourly service until 8pm) The villa had well equipped kitchen,dishwasher, microwave etc and even included tea towels, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc. The bedding was basic and only one pillow per person which i thought could be improved on for comfort The garden was equipped with sun loungers and seat pads and was very private. Suggest ask for a villa in quiet location as we could hear loud music from the nearby local housing as this Capistrano borders a residential area. Lovely village - plenty to see with friendly people too. Recommend Caves +++ Frigliana also worth a visit (and walks if feeling energetic) into hills, Granada is a 1.5hrs coach journey away or quicker if by car and definitely worth the trip - we were able to buy tickets on the day (15 euros) for The Alhambra despite all the websites saying advance purchase essential.
