"This place looked like an old hotel that we probably bumped into this very year in a stepping-stone period towards its becoming a proper boutique hotel (perhaps I will go back next year to double check). "We had a very warm welcome from the lady on reception and the breakfast staff were lovely. Our room was a good size with quality bed linen and excellent bathroom products. There was a great selection at breakfast and some excellent cappuccino made to order. We only stayed one night and I don’t really think that’s practical as it’s a bit of a trek to get to, especially with the road closures. We got horribly lost so arrived late, a bit tired and frustrated. "
