All the staff were lovely, the room facilities were more than we thought, the breakfast room was lovely, Even though we might never visit this area again (we are from the UK) we would definately recommend to our friends wanting to visit the area. "A very well appointed room, very functional, spacious and spotlessly clean, and daily housekeeping and replenishment of coffee, tea etc. An awesome balcony to sit and relax on with a cup of coffee, and a great location - just a 10 minute stroll to the vibrant Bridge Street or the Centre for Musical Arts. One aspect that could be improved was the lack of air conditioning but the fan was fairly effective to ameliorate the uncomfortably warm room after a sunny summer's day. "

"The property was great, laundry available, cooking facilities in room. Large room, Big windows, friendly owner who was very helpful, kind and witty. Really comfy room and bed. Serviced daily. Plenty of parking. Very Close to township to walk and explore. Lovely big park next door for picnic. It was a really happy stay and quite even though its on a busy road. Book through the owner as he is lovely to talk to and it will ensure all money goes to his family. We loved it."

"The Beachcomber Hotel has an excellent location, across the street from a large park, with the beach just past the park. There is also restaurants very close by. Our room was a bit small but met our needs. There is not air conditioning, but a fan helped."

"We were only at Hotel Nelson for about 12 hours, selecting it because the front desk was open later than most other options and we had a late flight. The room was spacious and we were able to use the pool (nice) the next morning."

"I enjoyed my secluded, private patio. Perfect for an afternoon sun-sit. The jetted tub was a great. And the curtains allowed for a wonderful darkness for sleeping. "
