"Unfortunately the room let down this hotel. unclean, cracks in the walls, bathroom full of ants and mosquitoes, broken cot for the baby, unclean linen, power trips 3 x a day, bland basic food. 1hr wait for a srilankan breakfast. Staff were very helpful and kind"

"This hotel had great staff, a very nice pool overlooking the beach and another pool facing the dining area. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds, great air conditioning and a good selection of food for breakfast. The beach was very quiet in November and nice to walk along. "

"The fridge and the TV in room didn't work, the pool was green, the bar photographed on their web site is closed and has mould growing up all the the walls. We had to sweep many cigarette butts away from the landing outside our front door, most of the pot plants around the property have long been dead, I could go with more on but you get the picture."

"Great stay. The owner and the property manager were so kind and attentive. I and another solo traveller were there at Christmas, the owner invited us to his house for a Christmas party which was tons of fun. I got the sense he would do anything to make a guest happy. Food was great. Sleeping accommodations were a tremendous value. Overall, a great place to stay."

"We stayed here for 4 days after travelling aroud Sri Lanka for 30 days. Comfy beds, spacious rooms, balcony was the best. Nice staff and a friendly and quiet place. Ws stayed at thw lwfr side of Negombo beach where there is no fuzz of people triyibg to sell you everything."

"Food and staff were excellent. Room with Spa was a fun option. Dogs barking opposite was an unfortunate scenario. Suggest getting room at back of hotel. They bark pretty much all day and very early in morning. So if you are trying to recover from a long flight and jet lag not the best"

"Great to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city and retreat to nature in a beautiful setting. This is what Nature’s Nest offers. The staff is really exceptional and knowledgeable on the animals, birds, area. The activities offered are varied with many options available. The meals were delicious with lots of variety. Kudos to the chef and his team. Definitely recommend Nature’s Nest. "
