"Fantastic 1st stay at Ikos. Beautiful hotel, fantastic choice of food and drinks at several restaurants. Our favourites were the Beach Club, Ouzo and Anaya. Staff were brilliant, always very helpful and polite. Rooms were great, we had Junior Suite with sea view in Block 1, one of the rooms did have an unpleasant smell, I think from the air conditioning, however we didn’t mention this so we can’t really complain. If I was being really picky I would say the drinks on the beach are served in plastic beakers due to safety I would imagine, and soft drinks never seamed to be fizzy on the beach. The regular beach server Bruno was tremendous and worked so hard, however when he was on day off the service was nowhere near as good or frequent.
The only real issue we had was people leaving towels on sunbeds. They would lay them on beds early and then not come to the beach for a few hours. There is a rule that they towels will be removed after 30mins but this doesn’t seem to be enforced. The most frustrating thing was couples securing 4 beds with towels and only using 2, probably to prevent people lying close to them.
All in all we had a brilliant stay at Ikos and would love to try another Ikos resort."
"Amazing hotel with friendly and eager to help staff. Dining options include half-board with wide range of dishes for every taste. If stay in upper hotel, there is a golf car service availabie to take you go the beach (3 min) and back. Shops with clothes, shoes, bags and jewellery is available on tge territoty. About 6-7 swimning pools are available as well. Bigger, smaller and several pools for kids. Doctor is also available in cade of necessity. Hotel offers w8de eange of spa treatnents. Rooms equipped with A/C, bathrobes, good towels, etc. The territory of the hotel is rich with greenery. Parking is also available for those travelling/arriving by car. Small supermarket/souvenir/greek products shops are in walking distance (max 5 min) from the hotel. Tge bus stop is also hear the hotel. Most rooms have balcony with comfy chairs for having pleasant evening. The hotel is about 80 km from Thessaloniki, the beach is sand and amazing sea, good for kids. Hotel offers rich dinner menu (different every day). Live music every night after dinner, bar offers good cocktails menu. I've enjoyed every day staying in this hotel, definitely coming back."
"We book this hotel for 1 week, the place is clean. It is in a good location, restaurants and beaches are just few minutes drive away (5 minutes at least). If you just want to chill out, they also have there own swimming pool. You can order bevarages in the bar. Free breakfast has good range of selection and tasty. The staff are so nice and they are very helpful. We have some issues with the rooms temoerature, but they address it quickly. I would say the gem of this hotel is the two girls (staff), sorry i didn't get the names, they make you feel welcomed. They even gave us a complementary drinks in the bar. If you want a laid back, relaxing holiday...this hotel might be an option for you."
"Very nice, authentic hotel with beautiful garden and surroundings and beautiful beach. Bathroom condition was poor, there was no shower tray, just the blocked water drain that caused flooding of the bathroom floor. Room balcony was large and really nice and beds very comfortable apart from pillows that were too firm. Room and the bedding was clean. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful but food in the main restaurant wasn't edible so we had to eat sandwiches at the beech/pool bar because other restaurants were closed."
"Amazing resort with stunning views, fantastic spa center, great food and vibe overall! The only drawback was that there’s no water station at the spa, so would highly recommend the hotel management to instal one. "
