"We chose this River Palace due to their proximity to Piazza del Popolo a short walk to/from where our tour meeting location which worked out great. "Location is great close to Spanish steps and a bit further Trevi Fountain, we also walked to cclosseum and Vatican. these are further but totally doable. Your room may not be in the area of the hotel reception our room was about 200m away in another building, possibly common in Rome, don’t be put off it was all fine and the buildings are very secure. The staff are super helpful. "

"The location was perfect during our stay in Rome. The hotel was at most 20 mins walk from all the iconic landmarks and we did not have to purchase any metro tickets. The only time we had to take public transportation was taking the bus going to the Vatican. A big shoutout to the friendly staff, especially Patrick! He helped us out so much and our family was so lucky to have been helped by him. Will definitely recommend friends and family who are visiting Rome to stay here."

"We feel very luck to have found Hotel Madison. From the outside it appears very nondescript. When you enter you are immediately greeted by friendly staff. Lorenzo checked us in - was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very large, very clean and very safe. The size, comfort and amenities is unique for Rome at the offering price. It was great to just get off the train and walk right across to hotel Madison. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Modern and spacious room and bathroom in the center of Rome! 5 minute walk to the train station. Helpful tourist agency across the street. We walked everywhere from the hotel (Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and even Vatican City). Also, extremely grateful to friendly hotel staff. Arrived from Transatlantic flight very sick on my stomach and the staff were able to check us in early, so I could rest and recover in the privacy and comfort of a room. Thank you!"
