"No hot water, towels are very old, and not clean , bath tub is high to climb up, toilet seat are broken totally no recommended for foreigners .I stay with my two sisters who are currently live in Myanmar, they even soooo disappointed. I’m sorry to give bad feedback, but my purpose to do this is I want them to improve. Again not worth it to spend $$$ on this hotel. ( the employees are polite and nice, not their fault, the owners is)"

"I have travelled in Myanmar since 2006. I booked this hotel for two nights for its location the China town. Four hrs after my checkin at sharp midnight, 3-4 Burmese young hooligans (two men and 1-2 women) came into my floor. They were extremely loud and yelling all over on the hallway and their room. "On the same floor as the room I stayed in, a Chinese man was smoking and had the door to his room completely open, so the whole floor was filled with the smell of his cigarettes. And his phone was ringing very loudly. Even if you try to order room service, you have to order a very unappetizing meal. Other than that, the cleaning staff are very kind. "Hotel Balmi is a lovely, modern, boutique hotel. My room was great, with a nice river view. The location was perfect for me, with so much interesting street life nearby and within walking distance of some of the tourist spots. It’s also easy and cheap to get a Grab taxi if you’re feeling a little tired and lazy! The service at the hotel was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again."

"Gym should at least have a treadmill, bicycle on loan would be good as most shops are far away and difficult to grab a cab. Lastly good to have a washing outside the hotel as the hotel is built to serve the industrial zone....sometimes shoes returning from site could be muddy."

"Quality for value, the place is "get what you pay for." It's located in China town, which sounds great, except you will NOT sleep!! The hotel is situated above a street market that begins setting up (screaming vendors, metal tables and stands slamming!!!) at 5am. The market is open till nearly 1am. "Bahosi is a 2-3-star hotel in a very quiet residential area. The location is convenient if you are traveling to the Thai embassy (5 minutes taxi), the jewelry market and not a bad trip to Shwedagon (2,500 kyat taxi). "Hotel staff were always kindness and helpful. When I've faced Wi-Fi connection trouble, they were willing to support it. Room was clean and tidy, there were necessary amenities, free bottle of mineral waters,etc. Location was also walkable to the city center. I want to stay this hotel next time as well."
