"Just had a wonderful stay at Xianal Vacation Chateau (夏內爾渡假民宿). It was just a piece of paradise among the strawberry fields. It's just off the busy Taiwan Route No 3, but the noise level was not a concern due to good sound insulations. It's also a short drive to the town of Dahu for a nice meal. "3rd time staying there. The hotel is very conveniently located. Good food all within walking distance. A 15-min walk to the railway station. It's near a supermarket, cafe, pizza shop, 7-11... The room that I booked had really good views. The staff were very polite and helpful. There were always different main dishes for breakfast. Will definitely book it again."

"The building and decor are dated and well worn. Beds were comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise given most hotel beds in Taiwan are hard and pillows are like rocks. Parking was across the street with a token to exit, but the barrier was open anyway."

"I seriously think that this villa is overrated. - Not worth the price. Can get a better quality hotel with this price or cheaper. - Felt that pictures shown are rather deceitful. It's not as nice as you see in in the pictures. - No one swims in the small but colorfully lighted swimming pool. - The private 'spa'is not really a spa. It is just a bath tank. No medicinal spa water etc. - Wifi is really bad. Disconnects often. - Stayed two nights and served the same breakfast - ie. hotdogs, chicken...

Great hotel!

"Have been staying here whenever I visit Taichung for the past 10+ years. This time, I discovered that they offer really good ginger tea at the check in area and this is one of the best ginger tea that I’ve ever tasted! Room are big and clean that I’ve used to as before, breakfast buffet are still really good. I will continue to stay here in the future!"

Amazing Hotel, Definitely Recommend!!

"I don't know why Lin Hotel has below a 9 rating. It's an incredible hotel and feels like a Vegas 5 star hotel like the Wynn or Encore. The location is extremely close to major parts of the city. The staff is extremely nice and speaks english. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean, but the beds were a little soft. The cleaning staff comes in every day to make your bed and change the towels. The place feels like a luxury resort. The pool was extremely pretty. The gym had dumb bells, some exercise equipment, treadmills, and some cardio equipment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Taichung"
