We have always wanted to stay at Dunleith, and we booked a room in the mansion for our anniversary. The Castle and Pub were great (as always); however, the check-in process was less than desirable (unprofessional), and the main house common areas were not clean. The floors had not been vacuumed in some time. Our room and bathroom were clean though. Also, there was no breakfast option on the property - that was on us, we should have checked. The property is absolutey beautiful. I hope more attention will be paid to cleanliness in the future.

Jonathan, the Manager at the property, went above and beyond for my wife’s birthday stay. When an error happened because of the system between them and Expedia, he made it right! When we return to Natchez, we will definitely stay here again!

The bed was comfortable, the ac worked REALLT GOOD, there was a stand fan in the room already. The hot water was HOT HOT HOT, wonderful deep tub, fridge and coffee in the room. If you like the historic look this is the place. It was beautiful and very comfortable.

We enjoyed it. Place was beautiful. Had a restaurant, the Castle, we eat there for breakfast. The food was good. Went for the Natchez Balloon Festival.

I loved the room we stayed in and the view from front of property! The lights on the trees to the restaurant were magical!!! I felt there were areas where there was trash in bushes and on the grounds that needed to be picked up. Our bathroom had not had a good sweeping and mopping. That’s very important to do. Sweeping the whole room and mopping shows that you care about your customers. The floors inside the house needed vacuumed, stairs needed vacuuming. It made it look unkept. I felt the room price was very good.

Our stay was wonderful. The views were amazing, the room was huge and yet very cozy, the bathtub was incredible and the bed was the cherry on top! We slept very well on the awesome mattress inside a four poster bed that was beautiful. The only thing I could have wished for was “a dumb waiter,” to carry my luggage to the 3rd floor. Don’t over pack! But, the jet bath tub definitely made up for any discomfort getting to my room.

The property was one of the best in Natchez. At one time.The main house was amazing, unfortunately we got a basement unit next to the main house when maybe they openly had five or six units rented on total property. Was safe and a nice place to visit.
