Moderate at best. Did not receive a room upgrade. It was extremely noisy until about 3:00 am every day. We had to ask for room service when we would leave. Sometimes they would come, sometimes not.

The hotel did not provide the room type I reserved with Expedia. Instead they gave me a much downgraded room at a price significantly higher than listed on their webpage. Front desk associates seemed annoyed I questioned their choice. There was no attempt at service recovery. Both bar areas had dirty glasses and plates everywhere. No table service. Everything was ordered and picked up at the bar like fast food. The water fountain on my floor did not work. It was disappointing for a boutique experience.

Luxury hotel within walking distance to Printers Alley, Broadway and tons of restaurants. Hotel was beautiful, old world charm and the rooms were very clean! The hydration station is a great touch with water, ice and coffee options. We appreciated the bottles they gave us for our stay.

Loved that this isn’t a cookie cutter hotel. It’s a great blend of preserving the past and offering modern design/conveniences. The staff are very accommodating and went out of their way to resolve a mistake I made with my booking when I needed to extend by a day. Absolutely would stay again. When I visited, the Makeready restaurant and its Hidden Bar were closed for renovations. I deducted a star for amenities in my feedback form accordingly. The coffee in the Drug Store cafe was a daily treat.

Beautiful hotel, Printers Alley is behind the hotel (awesome restaurants and music), two blocks to Broadway and all the nightlife. FYI nightlife starts at 11:00 AM in Nashville. Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Hall of Fame, Bridgestone Auditorium (Predators) are all there. FedEx Field (Titans) are just across the Cumberland River. We will definitely be staying there again.

Valet parking is very expensive, especially considering the valet just stood there and watched me unload my luggage, and then drag it into the hotel. Didn’t even offer to hold the door (which wasn’t automatic so it was hard to open while carrying luggage)
