I paid for the hotel B&B Chez Moi. However, the staff at the reception told me that we were transferred to Hotel Poker, which is nearby, because their sewage system was blocked at B&B Chez Moi. Reading the reviews from before, I noticed that this is their usual practice (you pay for one hotel, and they take you to another). ADVANTAGE:proximity to Galibardi station (2 min walk), airport bus (Alibus, 3 min walk) the reception is open 24 hours, the bakery next to the hotel has great products (you will see a crowd, they are not open on Mondays) friendly receptionist Simone comfortable beds the air conditioner works it can be seen that the hotel has been renovated, but it can be seen that everything was done in a hurry DISADVANTAGES: The drain is blocked. The room can be felt on the sewage system (room no. 9). Noise from the street is unavoidable, day and night. The water container for the toilet bowl does not work On the bill from Expedia it says: city tax 3 euros/person = 3 nights *2 people = 18 euros, I was properly charged 21 euros and I did not receive a bill. I don't understand why I was charged 21 euros? A modest breakfast: croissant, juice, bun, cheese and salami (which is no longer available but is available), yogurt that is obviously not kept in the fridge, cereal, a small package of jam and butter, coffee, tea and some cake that lasts for days. It is interesting not to notice that the servant who arranges the food touches the garbage, then money, and arranges cheese..

I think it should have been mentioned on the description that the B&B is on the 5th floor and the elevator is tiny and you have to pay to use it. The building door is also tricky to be found. The place is pretty close to the train station but it is also located in a not safe area. The staff is friendly and the rooms are ok. The room I was staying had a jammed lock, and it was hard to lock and unlock the door every time I had to leave.

Decent location but very unsafe procedures
We found the hotel which was well located to train station, however the outside is littered with homeless people and very very busy. The receptionist asked for our passports to hold on to, she took them and put them into an unlocked file desk which was very visible and easily reached from behind the counter. The receptionist then left and did not come back all day and night. The computer was left on with customer details and our passports left in the desk. The main door was never locked and there was access from the street with no security or supervision! Unacceptable procedure. We took our own passports back by simply walking behind the reception divide as we did not think leaving them was acceptable. The bed was also very loud, the bathroom makes a very loud noise when you flush the loo or run water. The hot water in the shower ran out after a 10/15 minute shower! Not good

Great place to stay although the reception desk and the rooms are located in different buildings. Room was very clean and the service was outstanding. I will stay there again. Don’t let the outside looks deceive you. The hotel is very secure and the police patrols the area frequently

Careful of area... rough crowd on streets
Room was good very clean. Breakfast was good. Only thing was area wasn't good. Was told several times from nice people in local stores to be careful because I was White and also keep shoulder bag in my front.

Very hard to find the place it's more like apartment then hotel really it's located on a fifth floor of an apartment building no sign in the entrance of the building. Probably for this hotel less will be more The breakfast barely has anything it's better not to have it The room is ok but housekeeping is to much when they clean the room they move personal stuff around(it was difficult for me to find my stuff) they even had the towels taken one day without replacement must of the time there is nobody around so I couldn't asked for new ones

Ideally located next to Naples main train station allowing easy access to Pompei and the port to Capri among others. The BnB is located on a 5th floor with a small lift that requies 10cent. we were only greeted by the cleaning lady who was lovely but only handed us our keys. She does a fantastic job cleaning. Our room was spotless. We were celebrating our honeymoon and given a spacious room with kitchenette with an added mysterious pipe hanging from outside into our sink that dripped. I moved it outside and we returned to the bnb an hour later it was back. In the sink window open. The finish appears rushed as there was still paint pots in our bathroom but we only wanted it as a base so was fine. We used the kitchen to boil our eggs for a sandwhich for tea. On check out it was demanded we pay extra for using the kitchen as room we booked was room only and we were only given this room due to limited facilities in the bnb. At no point was this explained to us before or on our arrival that the kitchen within our room was out of bounds and there were no signs warning us of an extra charge if we did. We refused and left with a bad experience to end our time in Naples. Just beware of hidden charges.

Seems like an upscale hostel :-(
Cons: no blanket/comforter, no shampoo,conditioner,soap,pillows were not comfortable,there's a few to take the elevator to the 4th flr but hotel is on the 5th Pros:cleaning staff was friendly, right in Garibaldi Square (which is a total slum) The first night we were moved to a different hotel due to a 'problem' which turned out to be that they double booked our room...so we got no wifi at the other place or breakfast...just a poor experience overall.

Welcome was good. Room was ok, but water was leaking out of bath and flowing to the floor. TV has no English translation and no news in English, i.e. CNN or BBC. Staff do not speak English, except for the Receptionist whom we met only on arrival and night of departure. Breakfast was always the same and very little or tiny portion of cheese and meat (cold cuts) and they don't serve eggs! On the night of our departure, we were asked to pay the city tax which we were not aware of. It was kind of a discussion until we showed him our document from Expedia. He phoned Expedia and he wanted us to speak to them. Expedia sorted out with the Receptionist the problem after a long discussion on the phone.

New, clean room. Service was not as good.
Good: 1. The room looked like it was newly furbished. It was very clean and the a/c worked very well. 2. Location was perfect. We had to leave early on our check-out day, and it took us 5-minute walk to the central station. (although the area behind the building was a bit dodgy at night) Bad: 1. None of the staff members spoke decent English. We were only able to communicate with lots of gestures during the stay. We had to ask them for a favour because we left one of our stuff there, but we had to ask an Italian person to speak with the hotel staff.

5 Days in Naples
The B&B is on the fifth floor the lift just held one person and 10cents to use. Breakfast was every morning 9.00am which was to late for us to get out and about so we only had one breakfast. Room was kept clean and bedding was always clean. Staff were friendly. The reception didn't have a safe to put any valuables in. The hotel information on the website said that they did have a safe that was one reason we booked it. Overall the hotel was good for location and value for money as long as your fit to use stairs if no 10 cents.
