"The hotel is not located near anything interesting and is wildly difficult to access. I’m all for isolation but getting here is a pain and staying here is boring. It’s overpriced and I found the staff to be dishonest. "The surrounding area is beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rate included breakfast which was nice. However, this is an all-smoking room hotel - contrary to what it’s listed as. There was no noticeable odor in the room, but might not be the same for all. And they’re having trouble with the hot spring source so there’s no onsen water to the room balcony baths (my main reason for booking), and their regular hot spring will be sometimes closed.
