Erato Hotel exceeded our expectations from the great breakfast, to the friendly staff, and the welcoming environment. The location was excellent, a few steps aways from Ornos beach and the closest bus stop.

This is the best hitel we have stayed at in Greece. Maria and the team are fantastic from the moment you arrive. The rooms are beautiful as is the view across the bay and the breakfast is the best again! We had an amazing stay and will definitely recommend to others. Do not pass this gem of a hotel up if staying in Mykonos

Beautiful property, can see the ocean from it. Daily breakfast is great. Less than 2 minute walk to the beach and to the bus stop, only 15 minutes by bus to the town centre. The staff are really helpful to plan things to do depending on weather and helped us organize a car for a good price. 24 hour reception makes you feel safe. Highly recommend.

This property is amazing. Great location on the beach. Convenient for transport and close to great dining and fun options. The staff is unbelievably nice, helpful, and friendly. Aleksandra, the receptionist, is one of the nicest, friendliest, helpful people we met on the island. She is an absolute delight. She gave great local tips what to do and they were all perfect. Would come again for sure.

From the moment I arrived, the Erato Hotel staff were really friendly and accommodating. They provided great information about transportation and restaurants around the area. The location of the hotel is perfect; it is a short walk to Ornos Beach (1 min walk), and to the bus stop where it can take you to Mykonos town (10 min drive) where all the main shopping and restaurants are located. You can also take a water taxi from Ornos beach to the other beaches around the island! The breakfast that was included every morning was amazing and the rooms were really spacious. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is staying in Mykonos.

Erato is where luxury meets practicality, it has the charm of a boutique hotel and the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Beach is next to the hotel, staff is amazing, owners treat the business as a privilege and not a transaction. Maria, Alexandra, Albert and other staff couldn't do enough to meet our over the top needs. Highly recommended and no look no further!!

We love Maria! She is such a warming and welcoming person. She gave us so many recommendations and we enjoyed them all! She helped guide us with the windy weather to what we were hoping to do in Mykonos. Hotel Erato’s staff members are so sweet and accommodating! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s in such a perfect area and the hotel path takes you right onto Ornos beach with many restaurant options and plenty sunbeds to rent from! There’s a bus stop that will take you into town and to several beaches through another bus. I must admit Maria and her staff made Mykonos the best for us besides all the wonderful recommendations she gave us. We hope you enjoy this place as much as we did!

What an incredible little oasis away from the craziness of Mykonos city. If you are looking to be in the middle of it all.. then perhaps this is not the right place for you. But if you are looking for a quiet beach in the evening, gorgeous waters and impeccable service then this is the BEST!! Maria, at the front desk has the kindest, warmest energy. She will explain the island to you, give you great recommendations and answer any of your questions with an authentic smile. It feels like you are in a 5-star hotel without the price. When first encountering the hotel off of the road, you do not realize the beauty that lies on the other side. Just steps away from the beach, the hotel has a gorgeous garden and sitting area where you can relax with a cocktail or just simply rest and enjoy. Their rooms are amazing and they have the most delicious breakfast, with a variety of authentic dishes. It is also steps away from delicious beachfront restaurants, where you do not need to make a reservation and can simply enjoy a quiet dinner with great music. Beware the Mykonos transportation is very expensive, but they have a bus from the center of town that stops right in front of the hotel. Be sure to check their website for the correct stop, so that you don’t have to trek with your luggage. I recommend this hotel to all who want a gorgeous beach, friendly service and to leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.

From the moment we arrived at the island and the hotel, it was amazingly beautiful. The photographs are exact! Our room had the most fabulous patio; a place I enjoyed sunbathing, relaxing and reading. The room was outstanding- serviced everyday with beds made to fresh towels! The hotel patios over looking well established gardens, the sea and surrounding Ornos. Breakfast was served here; a scrumptious delight from coffee, fresh juice, meats, cheese, olives, cheese pie, eggs and much more. My favourite was actually little pots of cinnamon rice pudding, Greek yoghurt, musli and honey and delicate little pastries on my plate!!! It was eat as much as you can whilst enjoying those paradise views!! The beach was at the end of the garden and down 3 old steps. We enjoyed swimming each day. The restaurant’s and tavernas were along the beach and road at the end of the beach. The furthest we walked to eat was 15 minutes. There is a well stocked super market 15 minutes walk. For my husband, 18 year old son and me; we came to Ornos for 1 week to chill after a very busy few months at work and college! to relax, eat, drink and swim. I arrived with a back injury, so we took no excursions, we did take the bus to Mykonos town, cheap and 15 minutes away! The harbour in Mykonos, the windmills, narrow streets were just breath taking. We had thee most fantastic week!! Maria and her staff were so helpful and inviting!

Maria and her staff were some of the most gracious, lovely people we have ever encountered at a hotel. Erato Mykonos feels like a lovely home to retreat to after a long day of exploring, beach days, Mykonos town, and more. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The daily breakfast is so fresh and delicious with choices for everyone and a wide selection of items. They play lovely, peaceful music in the lobby and during breakfast. All staff are so eager to help you with anything needed. The view from our balcony of the beach and mountains was just beautiful. I cannot say enough about Erato Hotel Mykonos! It is the very best location and steps from Ornos beach. We don't like to stay near the party crowds and loud discos of Mykonos Town, so we chose this location on purpose and it was a great decision. We were enchanted by this lovely, little property. Most flights on your day of departure leave well after check-out of 11am. You can leave your bags and enjoy the beach if you would like. There are even places to shower before your flight and after check out if needed. Mykonos bakery and other wonderful, traditional Greek restaurants are in walking distance. The bus stop is located literally at the end of the street of the hotel. Super convenient for going to Mykonos Town for 1.80 Euros. Keep in mind that there are only 32 taxis on Mykonos so this is the best option and so affordable. Save your money for shopping and dining and take the bus! Lovely hotel. We highly recommend!!
