"A nice property, but certain aspects could be improved. The staff were friendly and attentive, the property's location is beatiful and fun with the occasional hippos showing up in the garden. The "room" was spacious and offered good privacy. However, the food was nothing really special (compared to other - sometimes cheaper - places in Uganda) and unlimited drinking water should be a given at this price."

"I had a group of 16 staying at the lodge and we all absolutely loved it! The facility was lovely and the rooms were very nice. The staff especially are very welcoming and kind. Best experience was walking out of the restaurant after dinner and seeing an elephant standing in the middle of the path. 10/10 would recommend!"

"It was a lovely experience staying at Engiri. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Our room was simple but spacious with a terrace to sit on. The food catered for us as vegetarian and was all freshly prepared and delicious. The outdoor seating in the restaurant was a nice place to dine. The staff is so friendly and attentive. "The grounds were absolutely stunning at the hotel! The rooms were very large with all the amenities you could need. We did have a couple of issues with bugs indoors but Iā€™m sure that goes along with the thatched roof. The restaurant had an amazing variety of good food on the buffet. The thing that takes this place to the top is their service and the wonderful people they employ. We arrived at around 11:00 pm after a grueling drive. Iā€™m sure everyone was tired and wanting to call it a night....
