"I was thoroughly disappointed with the service during my recent stay in the Apartment Hotel Cologne. Prior to my arrival, I specifically requested a parking space, which was acknowledged by the hotel. "Everything was veey clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent air conditioning. Very good breakfast options. The only surprise was cost of valet parking. Website says parking available, but does not say it's valet parking or that it costs 30 Euros per night. "

"A quirky choice for a weekend in Cologne. And although it is a hub for remote working it didn’t feel corporate. The breakfast in the restaurant was great and the monkey bar is better than most hotel bars. Lots of thoughtful touches dotted about. We appreciated the “runners corner” with local maps, fruit, water and complimentary sweatbands. Would definitely stay here again and recommend !"

"The staff at the rec option desk was very welcoming and friendly. The room was an ok size for a single occupancy. Typical twinbed style as it is common in Europe. Clean room. Comfortable mattress (I prefer the harder mattresses), and shower and sink water pressure were perfect. It is also only a 10-minute walk to Koelnmesse or one subway stop. "

"Outstanding service and attention to detail. The staff were very accommodating and easy to talk to. The only black mark was a washroom that was cooler than the rest of the room. It made the first few minutes out of the shower uncomfortable. As a sort of consolation, the bathroom featured a heated towel rack. The shower was also slow to drain, leading to some initial concerns regarding flooding the suite. The breakfast selection was above average with staff making decorative coffee creations. The hotel is centrally located, with some attractions easily accessible by foot. It is located on a quiet street and away from night life."
