"This is a really very nice hotel with absolutely superb staff and a wonderful spa. Breakfast is excellent and the view from lake-facing rooms amazing. Why four, rather than five stars? First there is no room service. The reason given for this is that the hotel is spread over a large area and the hotel does not want to deliver sub-standard food. "Great stay st Bachmair Weissach. The hotel is beautiful. Particularly the stream that runs through it and the spa. Rooms are spacious, clean and quite nice. But there’s no a/c. It can get quite hot during the day. Staff was nice and attentive. Although service was a bit slow at times. Nothing too bad to detract from a wonderful experience"

"This hotel was in a great location. Close to the lake and boat service. Also within walking distance to a grocery store. The food (dinner) was AMAZING. Highly recommend making dinner reservations there. Breakfast was a typical german breakfast which also was good. The staff was nice and the hotel was well run. "I visited this area for the first time, and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are good sized and the bed is very comfortable. The windows swing open wide which was nice to bring in the cool evening air. "Our room was very clean and remodeled well. We were only staying one night so we booked the cheapest king bed room. This room #24 was an attic room which had no windows except for two skylight window on the ceiling. Didn’t have screens and it rained that evening, so we closed them.
