"We arrived at 4:30 p.m. in the dark. The grounds and building are not well lit. Reception was easy and welcoming and the receptionist helped us up the stairs with our bags There is no elevator.. She also helped us with the television and WiFi and provided directions to an excellent nearby restaurant. (The hotel kitchen is closed today, therefore, no dinner or breakfast available. "Nous nous attendions à une cuisinette un peu plus équipée. Prendre note qu'il n'y a pas de four ou de grillette. Pour une chambre pour 4 personnes, il n'y avait que 2 couverts ( 2 assiettes, 2 fourchettes, ...). Aussi, il n'y a pas de table/chaises. Les lieux sont neufs, en très bonnes conditions, les lits sont confortables, la salle de bain est spacieuse."

"The host was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. It’s a historic house which he lovingly restored and upgraded with modern conveniences. Lots of period details and antique touches throughout. We highly recommend it and would gladly stay there next time we visit the area."

"Rene and Yolande are amazing. They have opened their beautiful home and welcome guests. Breakfast was freshly baked croissants and bread with a selection of jam, fruit, juice, eggs, cheese and pates. Even a cake for dessert. Located right on the St. Lawrence, it is a beautiful property. "
