"Nous avons adoré notre séjour à cet hôtel. Même si il était quelque peu éloigné des principaux attraits de la ville, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Les chambres sont propres et confortables et le personnel est attentionné. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié que l'hôtel nous offre gratuitement un billet de transport pour que nous puissions nous rendre au centre-ville et à la gare en autobus. Et que dire du petit déjeuner. Tout simplement délicieux !!!"

The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. "Nice people and amazing food It is impossible to sleep as you can hear every foot step from the rooms next door. Every word and toilet trip. 1am before I could sleep all the ear plugs in the world wouldn't help. "Fantastic staff from first contact at reception to the gentleman serving at the bar. The set menu in the evening was fantastic, as was the breakfast buffet. The building is very attractive. Some of the interior would benefit from an update. We will definitely return."

"At first I was a bit surprised at staying in the dark yellow painted, deep red curtained and darkwood themed Africa room (135) but it grew on me. The patio area was pretty dark though. Breakfast was great but no restaurant for an evening meal nor a bar which was a shame. "I travelled in September, nights can be cold; this was the only HEATED room I encountered! The room was simple, with only a curtain to separate off the bathroom, but the bed was quite comfortable. I had trouble getting to Bad Grund becausr I don't have a navigation system. Once there, parking beside the pension is free. The surroundings are very quiet."
