We were in a room/studio that allowed us to close off the bed area so that one person was in the bother/living area with the curtains opened while another person was able to sleep undisturbed. "

"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"

"The hotel was lovely and the area was gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was good, however the dinner menu was limited...maybe because it was over the New Years holiday. "The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Ibsen was well equipped and clean. I liked the indoor and outdoor options. Food was amazing. I would recommend adding the half board to your reservation. Transportation to station and ski resort was seamless. "
