"This is a really nice hotel - probably the best one I stayed in on my trip. It's ideally situated right opposite the historic center, lavishly furnished and my room was spacious and light. The restaurant is awesome with high ceilings and huge windows facing out on to the street. Only problem is the wifi which was very slow."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The room was beautiful. You will enjoy your stay if you are into medieval style of living, i.e., creaking wood floors, antique furniture, arched beams. The room we stayed in was very spacious. They allowed us to park in their private driveway. Breakfast was also delicious showcasing traditional Romanian dishes and cooked breakfast. I highly recommend this place."

"This hotel is beyond amazing and the best part of our trip. The host was extremely accommodating and made us feel comfortable at home. He showed us his wine cellar and we were able to sample his homemade wine, which was also just as amazing as the room. The room was meticulous and well taken care of and was 700 years old with the original art still on the wall!!! It was incredible. I would come back just for this hotel and to speak more with Teo about the area and renovations. I feel beyond...

Because of its historic classification some things can’t be changed, so for example be prepared to carry around your big old keys to get into your room and the hotel front door. But it adds to the charm. We had a junior suite and it was nice and spacious, with a king bed, and a sofa and two side chairs.
