"Went for a quiet and relaxing week of winter sun with my partner and the stay was perfect in all details. The villa was big and very comfortable. Breakfast is well served, great size heated pools. Hotel staff were friendly and kudos to the housekeeping, everything was so clean!! Highly recommend it"

"Loved that it was so close to Yumbo! We had a room facing the pool and would recommend this if you don't want to be disturbed by noise coming from Yumbo at night. It's worth the small extra charge! "

"Just back from a fantastic stay, the hotel is beautiful, clean and has excellent facilities, the staff are super friendly, the only thing to note is to get into the town there are 143 steps down to the street level and around a twenty minute walk to the shopping centre, the steps up are a bit of a killer, however it’s super easy to get a taxi and only costs €5, this hotel over looks the marina and the sunset from the balcony was stunning, we will definitely be returning 😍"

"Loverly hotel. Great pool view. Family friendly. Bed room a little small but kitchen area good. There is an epic flight of steps up the hill to get to Yumbo. Would be happy to stay there again. "

"What an amazing place for a working holiday. Everything was amazing, apartment, view, pool. The place is exactly as you see it in the photos. Corry was an amazing host and looked after my every need. Fantastic restaurant literally 30 meters away with an fantastic view of the sunset. "

"Very pleased with our stay. We had a 3 bed oceanfront and the outside area with pool was fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Only comment would be to improve the bedding - the duvet cover was just some sheets combined to cover it but didn’t really work. The cement factory is hardly noticed when you’re there and it’s only an easy 10 minute walk to the town. Breakfast was good and worth the extra cost. "

"We had a lovely stay at the apartments. Everything was great. Apartments themselves were great, we had paid bit more for the one with aircon. Just to be aware there are lots of stairs to get to rooms. Lift everywhere so you can always get to it but it takes time so we mostly walked as we didn’t mind that. We had a half board and food was great, sometimes the freshly cooked meat was bit tasteless but there was always lots of other choice. Outdoor snack bar had pretty good choice of food, pizza...

"Hotel is very tranquil perfect for couples. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. My only niggle is our room with pool (202) like many others did not get sun on the terrace until around 1 in the afternoon, when it was too hot for us. We spent our time by the main pool, which is gorgeous and often we were the only ones there. But not using our own pool was disappointing. I would definitely go again but not pay for a private pool."

"Absolutely loved our stay here, our new place to stay in Playa del ingles. Spotlessly clean, well maintained pool and gardens, on-site store and bar. Friendly staff, fast and welcoming check in with free drink. Great breakfast - well managed. Loved every minute, well be returning "

"Room was clean and well equipped. Pool tiles on the floor were broken in various areas. Cleaning only once every five days. Magda on reception was amazing and always helpful absolute credit to this business. Hotel is the perfect location for both Amadores and Puerto Rico. "

"Fantastic hotel and great location. Only downfall was they don’t refill the coffee and sugar despite seeing that we are using it daily, also we were self catering with zero cooking appliances or tools, we had to ask for plates and cutlery and they cleaner then took them away and didn’t replace them. Also staff can be a little moody but the hotel itself is really lovely. We had room 1905 which was amazing with own terrace and two steps to the pool, it was like a swim up room, really lovely! "

Very enjoyable stay

"I'd read on trip advisor that there was terrible food poisoning etc! Rubbish, they might have had a norovirus bug in the hotel but staff made every effort with sanitisers at meal times to eliminate this, although we never spoke to anyone who was affected. Food was lovely & varied, no complaints. I was here for my friends 60th, as I found it, all the staff I came across were amazing. Salvador in the main restaurant who works mornings & evenings was brilliant when we wanted to organise a cake we had to bring our own as hotel need 48hrs (for info), to supply one. He kept it cool for us & made sure staff brought it out at correct time. All rooms sea view & west facing so you get the sunset. My only downside is the entertainment at night, its very basic/boring, thats my only complaint, Riu liven the entertainment up! We may be middle aged but people love 'Good Music'."
