"Die Einrichtung wirkt auf den ersten Blick vielleicht kitschig. Aber alles in allem ist "Bird" eine wunderschöne Wohnung. Es ist für eine Ferienwohnung bestens ausgestattet. Es wird täglich der Müll geholt, das Bett gemacht und regelmäßig Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt. Das Haus ist an einem steilen Hang und darum ist ein Auto empfehlenswert. Der Weg zu Fuß ist aus meiner Sicht zu beschwerlich. Der Pool ist phantastisch und die Aussicht auf den Sonnenaufgang war jeden Morgen phänomenal....

"Lovely beautiful clean property with everything you need for a fabulous holiday. Great location right in the heart of Skiathos town. Large comfortable bed, fridge, Nepresso coffee machine, ironing board, smart TV with Netflix, washing line, great shower and some crockery which we used to for breakfast on the balcony. Bottled water left in fridge when we arrived and on the final day some crisps left for us to enjoy. Definitely as good as the reviews say - we would stay again. Thank you."

"What a Greek experience! This family-run, hotel is like stepping back into a more simple, regal time. This is a stay for those willing to slow down, immerse themselves in Greek culture and enjoy a more basic experience. If you enjoy character, personality and good people this is for you. The amenities are very simple but adequate. The hotel is a bit like a museum with beautiful antiques and architectural flourish. The rooms have balconies with sea views and AC. Sure the hot water only comes on during the time of day when people bathe, but it’s rustic. Don’t come to this hotel if you expect every convenience and luxury, come for the experience and the family. We were lucky to be there for Greek night, when musicians come for dinner and the old patriarch of the family sings and dances. The festivities lasted late into the night. A true Greek experience. The food was authentic Greek and delicious. There is poolside service for snacks and drinks. The hotel is run by two generations and everyone was warm and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Step back in time, slow down and enjoy what is important in life, the experience, but, don’t come looking for Egyptian cotton bedding and day spa services. "

"A Hidden Gem in Skopelos – Perfect for Relaxation and Island Charm I recently had the pleasure of staying at Skopelos Village Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The hotel’s location is unbeatable – just a short walk from the picturesque Skopelos Town, but far enough away to offer complete tranquility. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a charming island style, and impeccably clean. Our balcony provided stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the nearby harbor, which made every morning and evening special. The pool area was perfect for unwinding after exploring the island, offering a relaxing atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was recommendations for local dining or arranging excursions, their attention to detail made our stay seamless. The on-site restaurant served delicious Greek cuisine with a modern twist, and there were gluten-free options, which was a huge plus for me. Overall, Skopelos Village Hotel exceeded our expectations. Amazing stay in Marpunta Hotel

"The most amazing paradise. We stayed early August the hotel was full and still very quiet as so spaced out. We did Bed and breakfast - you could pay 30 euros for buffet style dinner which was amazing ( children 12 euros) the staff are truely magic and cannot do enough to help. There are no near by restaurants to just walk to from the hotel but they do have a free shuttle service which takes you to the local town at various times of the day. This may not be on the website but they have daily pilates, yoga, paddle boards, kayaks, tennis courts, a restaurant by the pool where the food is fantastic. We did a two centre holiday with the second part in skiathos which is better if you like some shopping! You can book all of this yourself online - no need to use a holiday company, we used seajets for the island transfer, and if you contact the hotel they will pick you up, very recommended "
