"We had a wonderful stay here and I would definitely stay again. The staff was all extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant is very good, and if you have an early morning planned for tours you can pre-order your breakfast the night before. We booked the ATM and Tikal tours directly through the hotel and felt very safe and well informed for each tour. Please note if you plan on walking into town lots this hotel is at the very top of a very big hill, it is still close to all of the San Ignacio activities, but just be prepared for a big walk back to the hotel. "

"This is an exceptional resort. We stayed in the Mahogany cabana and it exceeded our expectations. It backed the river and was so pretty. The restaurant overlooks the river and is beautiful. The goat cheese platter was one of my favorite items on the menu. They make their own cheese. Be sure to visit their farm. We toured the Mayan ruins and also did the river tubing tour. We had a great time!"

"Pine ridge lodge was a great place to stay for a few days in mountain pine ridge. The grounds are full of native plants and even chickens, turkeys, and 2 friendly dogs. The hosts are very friendly and eager to offer recommendations for local sights. Do yourself a favor and eat on site. The chef, Marcia, is very talented. I would definitely stay here again for my next visit to the area. "

"Our stay at Blancaneux was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were met with incredible hospitality. We went with our two adult children in their twenties. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Food was amazing. Best continental breakfast we have ever had. Farm to table dining experience was top notch. Fantastic diversity of dining experiences and great activities without leaving the resort. Bird watching, river tubing, horseback riding, hiking to a waterfall with a gorgeous huge swimming hole, all from our villa! Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for high end eco lodging in Belize."
