"I tried to contact the hotel and Hotels.com to say we were stuck in transit and wouldn’t be able to stay in the hotel until we actually managed to get to Colombo….I asked if I could change the date, as these are unprecedented times….but no body got back to me."

"Ocean not visible to room, worst is the staff they don’t treat the guests well, they looks very unhappy and they thro their emotion to guests. Staff in dining area and not helpful or welcoming "

"At check-in, we were told our room was not ready even though we arrived 2 hrs after check in time, when I questioned why that was the case for a “5 star” hotel, they miraculously found another room available to give us, figure that! There were plenty of friendly staff, but they were not attentive. We had dinner in the Indian restaurant - good quality and nice food. Overall, I would say “faded glory” in style and character - may not stay again here."
