Hotels near Mount Camdeboo Game Reserve

"The guest house is in a lovely area with fantastic views. The individual rooms have outside entrances and patios with table and chairs. Our room had a large comfortable king bed and twin bed, large clothes cabinet, television, air conditioning, full size refrigerator, microwave, etc. The bathroom was adequate size with nice shower head, hot water and water pressure. It also had secure parking, and large pool area and separate shaded outdoor cooking area with plenty of tables and chairs. It was beautiful. The only downside is having air conditioning being shut off in the middle of the night. It was super hot at this time. So, it would have been nice to lounge by the pool and take a refreshing dip in the sunshine. We tried but someone needs to clean up the pet dog’s poop since the odor is foul and to clean the pool since it is dirty. If you don’t want to use this area, then it is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Thank you."

"Just outside town in old farmhouse dating back to 1774. Shared kitchen well stocked and also access to private patio with braai. Some game to be seen close by at rivers edge as you drive in. Small pool for cooling off."

"We only stayed overnight, but as usual everything was exellent, from the welcome to checking out. Staff all very friendly and well informed. The food was delicious, the breakfast spread was well stocked with many choices, hot and cold. When in Graaff Reinet we always stay at the Drosdy Hotel. They have added carports for parking which is a big plus when the weather is bad. I highly recommend the Drosdy Hotel"
