This was a very nice stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and very clean. There is no elevator which is not a problem if you can walk stairs. Ask for room on first floor if it is a problem. Would rate this as an excellent location and hotel.

We've stayed here at least 4 times in the past 2 years and had excellent rooms up until this last stay. For whatever reason our room on this latest visit was quite small - easily half the size of other rooms we've stayed in and the bathroom was extremely disappointing. There was black mould on the tub/shower, no hooks on which to hang a towel (there was a hole in the bathroom door where a towel hook once was), and the vanity appeared to be falling apart. Otherwise, the location is excellent and the staff is polite - although not receptive to comments regarding the room.

Across from a large park, it’s nicely located and walkable to other attractions such as mile end area (longer 30 min walk, not for those who aren’t in somewhat decent shape). It’s an older building but nicely taken care of, don’t expect modern - expect cozy and homey. We had a couple bugs in our room but otherwise it was fairly clean, the room was very spacious and had what we needed. They don’t let you control the temperature of your room though so that could be a problem if it’s too hot or cold - it specifically says not to touch the thermostat.

This was a lovely little hotel. Staff were available and helped. Great that there was someone there 24 hrs. I think for the price the beeafast that was out out, should have been included. It certainly would help in making the price a bit more reasonable and the food was there. Hotel was clean and great location. A few minor touch ups in the room would go a long way. Otherwise very satisfied with our stay.

I have stayed here several times over the years. A unique and very comfortable. Nice Metro system and Uber. No need for a car. Across the street from a beautiful Park. While here we visited the Biodome, Notre Dame Basilica, the port and marvelled at the abundance of bicycle paths. We loved staying here and hope to return next year.
