Run down

Run down hotel. Just needed a place to sleep for one night, but had difficulty due to noise. Ad says 2 pets under 80 lbs. Front desk said they only allow one, but let us stay. Coffee is available in the morning in the lobby. No coffee maker in the room. Several fast food options within walking distance

Quick trip

The property has been converted from an old red roof into a "Hometowne Studios." It was comfortable and super affordable but is not in the best part of town. Great for a quick overnight travel place.

To much traffic in and around the room we were staying in. People were very loud, the night attendant was very helpful and polite. Room was ok some maintenance issues need to be addressed but overall it was a decent stay.

It was ok

They have essentially remodeled half of the motel and brand that half as Hometown Suites which is what we stayed in. The rooms were exactly like the pictures, with slight wear. My only real complaint about our rooms were a few old stains on some sheets. They had been cleaned, but they definitely need to be replaced. Other than that, our rooms were great. The area wasn't bad either considering it was a Saturday and Sunday night. Just guests coming and going to their rooms like any other motel. There was nobody suspicious lurking around or anything like that.

I checked in and sat my things down and used the restroom. Once I tired the lights on and the water, roaches began to scatter. Their policy is you have 30 minutes before the stay is nonrefundable. I was out in less than 10 minutes after check in.

The room had not been cleaned properly. Hair i. Sink and tub. Insect leavings along walls. Used floss on floor in bathroom. Cockroaches. Leak under sunk. Refrigerator had spill from another guest. I had to think of all the people in the world who had worse places to sleep. $25 would have been a good price for a night here.

I was assigned a room farthest from the front. Not even 10 cars were parked in all 3 sides of the hotel space? I was given a room that was a dump and didn’t have extra toilet paper, soap, shampoo and one of the towels was unserviceable. The clerk was rude and even threatened not to check me in when I asked why and what information he was typing from my drivers license. My reservation was accepted online and the credit card was valid.

Disgusting

Pictures online were deceiving but you get what you pay for. The pillow cases had blood stains on them. The bathtub was dirty. The walls and TV and headboard all had smudges and were filthy.
