The staff was great. The place was worn out and looked not well taken care of. The furniture was old and the place was a bit dirty. Seemed more like a truck stop. The Staff were amazing.

This was a good 3-3.5 star hotel. Friendly staff, quiet property, easy parking, comfortable beds - except pillows too large and firm for me. They offered a nice hot breakfast. Nothing much to walk to, but In & Out next door. I guess you could walk to the beach, but you have to cross the busy highway. Nice ocean views from afar, and easy Uber to restaurants. Make sure and drive the 17 mile route! We would return.

We have stayed at Holiday Inn/Express many times and we were sad to see poor maintenance at this last stay. The glass light fixture was broken and the towel rack was hanging off the wall. This was unsafe for us. I was surprised to see the room like this.
