It was good to stay outside of Palermo and the town had the usual amenities. The staff were its asset and the restaurant was excellent we had two amazing evening meals whist staying at the hotel. The shower in the room needs to be updated.

The staff is friendly, very helpful, and efficient. I he room and room service was excellent. The continental breakfast was excellent! And thee food in their restaurant was delicious!! I will stay there again!!

When I booked the property said it was 1.2 miles to airport. When we finally arrived through challenging roads it was more than 30 minutes away. We did not even check in and found a hotel closer to airport

Review of property which was used for only 6 hours. When we arrived no staff at reception to greet us. -twin room booked turned out to be a double bed which was awkward for both of us sharing. -toilet was not cleaned. -no towels in the bathrom. AC was leaking and started flooding the floor and also onto the elctrics below. -alarm went off middle of the night at 4.30am no indication of what this was for, startled us and we were looking for a fire exit. -no iron at property, mentioned this would be available but staff during day said they dont have one. -check out was due for 11am host asked us to leave at 10am. Only good part was the breakfast in the morning.

Just love the aura!!!!
A pleasant mountain village (with all the associated hairpins), the Castle is quite 'posh'. There were details for ringing reception, but no 'phone; no spare sockets for charging; terrible 'roll into the middle' mattress; no lift for those of us with walking difficulties; quiet and very efficient air con; sparse breakfasts but very nice and surprisingly inexpensive dinners.
