"It was good - seemed like it was windier there than other parts of Monte Gordo. Apartment was really roomy. Sofa was quite hard to sleep on. We were surprised that maid service was available, although we only used it once. We enjoyed our stay there. "

"Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars."

"Great hotel and very friendly staff. The outside pool is cold. Reception staff went above and beyond. We arrived at 1 in the morning and still got checked in after calling the out of hours number. Check in only took 5 mins. Walking distance to the beach although there are no pavements so you need to walk on the road. "

Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic.
