"Town House Cavour lived up to its promise. New and modern interior. Large bath and comfortable bed. Good a/c adequate for the space. Large armoire/closet with drawers, shelves and hanging space so we could fully unpack and stow away the empty suitcases. Steps from the piazza del duomo and the pedestrian street where there were shopping, bars and restaurants. Our host gave us good recommendations for restaurants to try and things to do. I highly recommend it."

"Expedia's property address was for a business office, which didn't have any nearby parking, and it was closed when we arrived. There was a sign on the door in Italian, which we do not speak, and a telephone number. A kind young woman used her cellphone to call the number and talked to the manager, who did not speak English. "We were on a big road trip and had lots of driving. That made it difficult to know our exact arrival time and also we would mostly arrive late because we had a long stretch of drive in the evening. One of the major reasons we booked Villa Princi was that it clearly stated 24h check-in and 24h front-desk. Sadly this is not true. It’s a B&B after all. "This is a lovely building in a great location! Thank you for letting us enter so late. Staying here really made our night great after experiencing a horrible flight delay. We checked in and went out for a bite which was just a few steps away and was a wonderful experience in itself. We slept comfortably and had everything we needed. I hope we can come back to Malta and stay at your lovely hotel again in the near future."

"Our stay at Casa Vela can only be described as magical. The owner allowed us to stay in an upgraded room for the first couple of nights, which had an incredible view looking over the streets and the sea! Casa Vela has a wonderful wine bar attached to it with excellent food and drinks. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff are very kind and attentive! Scilla might be the most beautiful community in all of Italy, the people are warm and welcoming and there is a very laid back “tranquile” vibe. I highly recommend staying at Casa Vela and we cannot wait to come back again! "
