"Absolutely over the top 3 day stay at this ryokan. We opted for meals inclusive and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food.
The staff was amazingly attentive!
Please consider a pickup at Shinjo station, we took a cab, there is a public bus but it was a two hour wait and we had luggage. Can arrange for luggage storage at Shinjo station? When train service is restored from Shinjo to semi onsen station perhaps that will be a viable option. Yumeminoyado will pick up at Semi onsen station with prior notice. Email communications with the hotel was responsive also, appreciated that! Overall a fantastic stay, highly recommend! "
"Hotel and room good, has everything need, close to the station. The only thing was hard pillows and need to get a different pillow from reception. There only a few pillows so not enough for all rooms. Better to have a softer pillow in room anyway."
"It is typical Japanese business hotel in regional city. It was a nice hotel back in 80's. Today, they seem to refurbish the
room on some of the floor."
"We had an amazing time and used this as two days of relaxing in the middle of our 1.5 minth trip. It was our first time at an onsen (we are Canadian) and it was a great introduction as there was both private and public onsens. The view was incredible, of the mountains and valley and we got to sit in a private outdoors onsen while watching a lighting storm. Truely magical. The staff was amazing and very accomodating. They were friendly and helpful and we communicated well through translator apps. Would go again!"
"It was as if taking a step back in time.
Drifting off to sleep in a dark room with the snow falling through the positioned sliding windows as to not see any of the surrounding modern day buildings, was a marvellous experience that I shall treasure forever.
Great amenities, a karoke room, natural onsens, a library and not to mention both a wonderful supper and breakfast, not to mention buffet style.
My only regret is not booking another night!
And the highlight for me was sitting in the natural onsen, both in daylight and below the night sky with snow falling, yet being warmed by the natural baths watching the world go by.
10/10 for me!
Can't recommend enough!"

Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Mogami. Holiday rentals offer amenities like kitchens and laundry facilities so you'll have everything you need. If you're concerned about a clean environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of security away from public hotel lifts and busy front desks while still allowing you to travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular choice for a family trip or a small group gathering.
