The gallery was founded in 1966, when it was known as the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford. Over the decades, it has become renowned for the quality of its exhibits. Many influential artists, such as Yoko Ono, Andy Warhol and Tracey Emin, have showcased in this important gallery.
Look at the subversive exhibits by controversial figures. They are often centred on taboo subjects and passionate themes, such as sexual assault, anger and lack of individuality. Most of these exhibits are temporary, lasting for a couple of months.
