"Beautiful heritage hotel in a central location, with lovely lounge area and amazing rooftop terrace with view of fort. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Negatives are it was quite noisy as centrally located, and food was ok but not amazing. Would stay again! "

"this is a palace with part of the property inhabited by a royal family memeber. The rooms were exquisitely decorated and the lobby and common areas are amazing/sumptious. The food was great; the gym very good and the only drawback was the freezing pool! But it was january! Great hotel"

"Train was delayed six hours. Arrived at midnight. Friendly welcome. Couldn't be more helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Food available though it's a bit of a mystery where and when. Just ask. Rooftop terrace has a nice view of the Fort and the railway station. Train noise will be an issue for some. It's a 24 hour operation."

"Great location to get anywhere in old town but still very quiet. Staff were super helpful and always available. Room was good, not fancy but clean and worth the price. I loved that you were welcome to sit on the rooftop for as long as you liked, moving from shade to shade with city sounds and an amazing view. Tip. If you aren't asked if you would like something from the restaurant just ask! "

"This property is right in the market area and yet quiet and calm. A variety of birds fly around the roof during breakfast with fort as a backdrop and violet temple in the foreground— kinda dreamy. We were in the temple room with old paintings on one wall. I think the dust rolling in from the street is a constant. Very convenient for shopping and getting tuktuk."

"Excellent staff with great kindness from beginning to the end ! At reception Rajni was so professional and helped us plan our days and guided us through out. We could not see a single mood swings ! Wow 👌 Chef “Santos” prepared our dinner with excellent taste! He was very particular to ask if we wanted something else or we would like to have our half board differently prepared. He was genuinely open minded to satisfy us ! Sushma from Darjeeling working as waitress was just a wow ! She was sooo professional and at the same time very private with without crossing her profession! This girl will go very far in her career! The waiter (do not remember his name unfortunately but he was from Varanasi was sooo helpful and nice to us. His boy like cuteness made us fall for this guy. He totally went out of his way to help us out ! The only thing we were disappointed with was the water system was very poor and needs huge maintenance. We complained every day and they fixed it temporary but after a couple of hours same problems. Another we were not satisfied with is the poor WiFi why I couldn’t work as planned. Even the staff had issues with poor WiFi that much so they hardly were able to charge our credit cards without trying over and over again. "

Wonderful havellie. Very authentic.

" Wonderful havellie. Very authentic and in the gullies. Only rickshaw can get there. The hotel staff were super friendly not pushy and very helpful. Being an old havellie a few niggling bits. Hot water was slow but we had hot water. Close walking distance to clock tower step well and shopping and chat places"
