The room was relatively nice and modern, but the lobby and elevators weren't great and show their age. The TV had a relative large selection of channels.
The internet connection was stable but slow. There was also no ventilation in the bathroom and the shower water temperature kept fluctuating. The lighting in the room was also very poor, with just two small bedend lamps and a small light in the doorway for the entire room. The Expedia property details also mention that guest have have access to a nearby gym, but when I asked the reception they said there's no gym.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the train station and because the NH brand is always a guarantee, and this visit to Munich was no exception. The staff, from reception to the restaurant, were always very friendly and helpful, especially now that the train station is undergoing renovations. The room was very comfortable and had modern decor and modern amenities. The breakfast buffet was one of the most enjoyable parts of the stay; it's a good option to try Bavarian dishes, in addition to the traditional items one expects at an NH hotel.

I booked a better room which I thought would have a couch, instead there was just a single chair. In my opinion it is over priced but I guess people are willing to pay. The pillows are down, you need to stack them four high to get any support but that's Europe for you.
The location is great, service is good, rooms are quiet. My biggest complaint is the cost, I'll pick a different time of year to visit Munich next time.

"It was a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located close to a train and bus station. We were able to use a free transit parking lot close by when we ised the piblic transit to explore the city walls. We were also able to check in early."
