"We ended up with an 80 Euro parking fine because the staff didn't have enough sense to tell us how the parking lot in back of the hotel worked (what the rules were). For the sake of having parked 12 minutes "early" before 6 PM on Friday night, we ended up with an 80 Euro fine even though we moved our car by 9 AM and leave on Saturday, as we were instructed to do. Hotels should either provide guest parking, or else clearly instruct guests as to the necessary procedures."

"The hotel is modern and is a touch of luxury. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Area is quiet for sleeping. Staff were helpful and courteous. Toiletries were a step above. Parking was easy and free. Close to beach and cafes and a nice stroll to main town centre. There is a small fridge in the room and a pod coffee machine. We wish we had time to stay longer. "

"Reception was brisk but clear- other than that nobody was around. My only real complaint was that my ground floor room window opened at street level and had to be closed to avoid street noise and exhaust- upstairs rooms would be preferable. Otherwise a picturesque and comfortable stop in a small town on the camino del norte. A good breakfast was available in a nearby café (Misaires)."

"This was the first stop on our trip thru Spain, embarking from Bilbao. Four sixty year olds looking for peace and quiet. We had driven through awesome mountain scenery and arrived at the hotel to be greeted by George (can't spell the Spanish version) who gave us a history of the area. The rooms were simple but very comfortable, with a bed that we didn't want to get out of! There were 6 rooms in an outside block, each with a small patio area and chairs and a mountain view. Very good

"We had a very good experience even though it was just for sleeping. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast for two days, it was great (no bacon and eggs). Very clean and everything new, jungle theme. The only thing that we didn’t like was the no facility of tea/coffee/kettle in the room. Bar/coffee at the reception area. Thank you very much."
