We booked a room with a king size bed but when we checked in at 5pm, there were only double queen rooms available. I’ve never had this happen before, so we were disappointed.

If you arrive by car, expect to be disappointed. There is a parking problem at this hotel. You are basically forced to pay thier very expensive valet fee or find another expensive parking option. I was very unimpressed with parking. After talking to manager all I got was apologies. Their website does not tell you parking is a problem. Website only says valet ( surcharge) not clear at all. Front staff were very uninformative. Not impressed.

Wow! I was so impressed! The room was a king and was huge with a sitting area. The bed was so comfortable. Great location. If every hotel was this clean and nice travel would be easy. Great place to stay if attending a concert or sporting event in St. Paul. Parking is $36 a day but your car is kept safe so worth it. Would stay again and I am a local.

My favorite spot to stay when attending concerts at the Xcel. Valet parking is a must. Everything is walkable within a block. Clean hotel, friendly staff.

Wonderful hotel, wonderfully nice front desk, beautiful room. Only negative was we couldn’t get pizza delivered from anywhere after 1am, which obviously wasn’t the hotels fault. 10/10 would stay again!
