"This place is even etter than their pictures. Beautiful mt cabin rooms with very comfortable bed. The town is picturesque and there are cute stores and various activities."

"The owners and staff are amiable. Check-in was effortless and convenient to do. Breakfast was a typical grab-and-go style with bagels, yogurt, coffee, milk, orange juice, and fruit. Not everyone likes that style, but it was perfect for my stay since I had early activity plans for the day and needed something quick. They have a sand volleyball court with cornhole and a firepit which was fun to do for a night. You are in the woods, though, so service is spotty. You can log in to wifi, but it may be tricky if you need GPS after you leave the lodge. Overall, my stay was good, and I would return if I were to revisit the area. "

"Two night stay end of August.Wonderful,old,classic Adirondack lodge with full buffet breakfast and ‘make your own’ sandwich fixings provided for lunch.Only complaint is slow dinner service due to lack of waitstaff.For outdoor enthusiasts,this place is for you.More hiking trails than you could ever imagine!"

"This hotel is beautiful, old style Adirondacks with cute rooms and great dining. While it is charming, the bed at least in the room I had was a springboard type of mattress you’d find at a koa camp. For the price to stay there I was shocked with it being one of the most uncomfortable sleeps I’ve gotten at any hotel and I travel a lot. Beds are an important piece to me. Aside from the super uncomfortable bed, the place was really nice. They didn’t skip on any Adirondack decor, the food for dinner and breakfast were superb and the people working there from the front desk, wait staff, and bar tender were top notch excellent. The bathroom and items they supplied were phenomenal as well. But truthfully as ideal of a cozy all Adirondack charming place as this is, I won’t return unless they upgrade their mattresses. If they do then I’d be back in a heartbeat! "
