"This is a no frills resort. If you're looking to get of the beaten pay this the place . We loved it walking distance on the beach to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island , not white beach, much nicer. Restaurant has a limited selection but some tasty local foods . We rented a motorcycle for 4days best thing ever as we saw the island at our own pace. Support staff fantastic and liokes after us . Very rustic rooms gret experience."

"Nice place, nice area. Was quiet at night, some reviews say it is too noisy. The only glaring fault is lack of wifi. There are 4 possible connections on two pieces of paper, which is purely theoretical. None of them work. Not life and death, but fairly important when travelling and researching the next destination."

"It's probably a 2 star hotel at best, but the location is good and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are a little cramped for my taste and they don't have their own facilities like a pool or room service but Angelyn hotel across the street services Ark Bayz' free breakfast and you can use Angelyn's pool if you stay at Ark Bayz. "Really nice hotel. The room was the premier Flint B, which had a comfortable queen bed and bunk beds for children. The terrace had a nice view of the bay. The only drawback was the steep stairs, but the bellhop carried up and down the bags. The hotel staff was very friendly, and everyone learned your name and it felt non-forced and like you knew them for a long time. "The unit itself is fine, just as described and pictured in the listing, was clean and A/C worked good, though the WiFi was weak to non-exsistant during my stay. I mention that because it’s the main reason that I book certain places (I need WiFi). If they say there is WiFi and it doesn’t work, it really messes up my trip! The last day the WiFi came back on but nobody bothered to let me know they changed the password! Staff was very nice and food was decent (especially compared to options around...

"Badlaz has up market rooms and air conditioned small rooms. If wife is with me we get up market if as now I get small/inexpensive room. Swimming pool is very good, diving is excellent. Staff and owners are great. 24 hour bar 40 mtrs from sandy beach. Always stay here"

"Welcomed warmly by Mhary and wish everyone else in that resort is like her. Definitely NOT the front desk lady I saw on my second day (on Monday, PH time) there (when Mhary was on her day off). Cleaning staff are both nice and really very good at their job. I did not try diving with this resort but I snorkeled on my own and it was very good. I did visit the other twin resort and it was a delight. All in all, very good value and a good experience."
