"Absolutely above all expectations. I stayed in room 203, which is a private room with its own bathroom. Didn’t even need ear plugs. The entire place is immaculate and charming. The staff are the best. The food is fantastic. Will be back for a longer stay! "

"This is a unique place to stay - an affordable 200 yr old house with many of the rooms including sitting areas. However, these rooms wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues as they involve stairs up to a loft bedroom. There are also multiple lounge areas for guests to relax amongst a mix of antiques and tchotchkes. "This has a really nice colonial architecture. The staff was super friendly. Unfortunately I speak limited Spanish but the staff was very accommodating and very helpful. I felt safe there. At night the area is a bit dicey but I felt safe as a solo male. I hope to come back. "

"Local staff were very helpful and friendly. Free bike to borrow on Sunday to take part in the cicolovia. Nice, varied (though a little small in terms of portion size) breakfasts, and being able to eat on the rooftop patio was a bonus. There was a live DJ on Friday, which was cool. Beers were cheap. Cool design to the building. I was in a private single room and it met all of my needs for a good price. Great location - easy to walk places and taxis pass by right in front. "Location location. This hotel is walkable to everything in Candelaria. Lots of food and shops close by. Staff are very helpful, breakfast is great. If it’s in your budget try booking the 4th floor rooms - they have great patios. If not the shared terrazzo is wonderful for sunset. I’d stay here again"
