"From the moment I arrived – early – I felt welcome. I was able to sit down comfortably, order a cappuccino and relax while my room was prepared. I enjoyed a conversation with (Florian) a friendly staff member who excelled at connecting through conversation. From check-in through my very last day, everything was perfect. Staff were relaxed but also on their toes, so to speak. I will return to this particular hotel in Biarritz."

"I was in Biarritz for just one night and this was an awesome place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for what I needed, a comfortable bed, very clean, and amazing location. I easily walked to town and to all the beaches from this location. I would definitely stay here again! "This lovely hotel in a charming building exceeded our expectations. Lots of charm and well appointed. Sylvie, the manager was welcoming and helpful in finding parking and offering recommendations around town. Great location near the market, beaches, and top tier shopping - while being set back a few streets so very quiet as well. Will stay here again! "

Résidence Vacances Bleues Le Grand Large

"For the price and convenience of location this is a brilliant stay in Biarritz. We travelled as a family of four for surfing. Cote des basque main surf beach is across the road and down the promenade, 5 minutes in the opposite direction you are in the town centre with supermarket, bakery, market, restaurants and shops. Follow the road along the coast for a beautiful walk through old town beach, many sights and to the port/town. The heated swimming pool was great and there are laundry, table tennis in the basement. Bar was not open when we stayed but would have been useful for the odd drink. Baggage store and very friendly and helpful reception staff adds to the welcome vibe of the hotel. The building itself and rooms are dated (think this is normal for this style hotel in France) but everywhere was very clean, beds comfortable and kitchenette well equipped for breakfasts and light lunch at the room. Room also had a balcony, sea view and clothes rack to hang the wetsuits to dry - perfect! Thanks to all for a fabulous stay :-) "

"Pleasant and clean stay but very basic - definitely not a 4 star- booked a studio and had bunk beds unless I wanted to make up the sofa bed Also expected to take rubbish to front of property upon check out and strip and bag bed sheets and towel's upon checkout 3 star at best "
