"We were married here in 2015 and return regularly. It is a truely unique place, away from it all out in the beautiful Tasmanian rainforest. A place to relax, get in touch with nature, escape the hustle and bustle and recharge. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, if a little outdated. The king beds could use an upgrade ie. make them a king, not two singles joined in the middle. But the cabins are warm, light filled and surrounded by the rainforest. We stayed as a family, 2 kids under 5,...

"This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena. Highly recommend this place to stay."

"Unique experience as this farm is also the oldest golf course ( since 1822) in Australia. We were greeted by the host personally and sat around the fire chatting with a glass of wine from the bar. They offer a lovely home cooked meal, dessert and cheese platter also. Great place to stay, highly recommended."

"Delightful stay and so lovely to literally footsteps to the national park. We caught the bus from the ranger station which was just a few steps from the front door. The only thing that would improve this location would be an EV charging station at the lodge. "
