Hotel Ruby Marie

3.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (744)
"The Hotel Ruby Marie is literally next-door to the Essen Haus but the Essen Haus is closed and going to be torn down for a new development. It was very difficult finding another restaurant in the Wilson Street area. We ended up at a McDonald's! Yuck! On the other hand, the Ruby Marie is very cool and maintained beautifully plus the included breakfast was yummy! A great place to stay as long as you don't want to go out at night."

"Buckingham Inn is a lovingly restored arts and crafts style home. The University Suite is spacious and very well equipped. Innkeepers are great and very accommodating. This is so much better than any hotel in the area if you want to connect with the true Madison WI experience, especially for the price. I highly recommend it!"

Inn at Wawanissee Point

3.5 star property

Huge attention to detail and consideration of their guests. The happy hour, the made-to-order breakfasts (served by Dave, a former beverage manager at the Palmer House in Chicago!), the grounds (charming) and the magnificent views from the great room and our sleeping room made for a very happy stay. We had snow and...
