"Before I left for Belize, I was in a dark place. I booked this trip as a last-ditch effort to find some peace of mind, and looking back, it was the best decision I could’ve made. I originally planned to stay somewhere else, but when that resort was fully booked, I landed here instead—and I truly believe everything happens for a reason. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, safe, and cared for. I met some incredible people who I can’t even call staff—they felt like friends. Michelle, Wilber, King, Kobe, Tanisha—everyone was so kind, and once they found out I was traveling solo, they always checked on me. Michelle even helped me find someone to do my hair! Their warmth made my stay unforgettable. About Hopkins Village: This isn’t just a place to visit; it’s a place to experience. Everyone smiles at you, everyone is kind—just make sure you’re kind back. It’s a humble beachside village full of love, culture, and flavor, and that’s what makes it special. A Few Things to Know: 🔹 No full-length mirror in my room—something to keep in mind if that matters to you. 🔹 The restaurant closes about an hour after check-in (around 4:30 PM), so if you’re arriving late, grab some food beforehand or wait until dinner at 6. Other than that, this stay was exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a resort where you’re treated like family, where the people truly care, and where you can reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, peaceful setting, this is the place. I'd return in a beat."

"Located at the beginning of the south side of village. Provided bikes are good to use, but worn. Junior was very attentive and friendly. It met our needs for the week."

"The rooms were very clean. Staff was amazing and very attentive. Stephanie, Kenny, Alex,Chris,Steven, cardi G, Milky Way, Elisha, Genesis and Thomas were all GREAT! Excursions were super fun with great guides. Food was ok Beach had a lot of garbage wash up every day that wasn’t really cleaned up well. They had one guy picking up washed up garbage and 7 guys raking sand. I wish the beach would’ve had the same amount of attention as the grounds. I would recommend getting a golf cart as the village with lots of great places to visit is about 2 miles away. "

"The resort is beautiful! Lovely grounds with rainforest surrounding and opportunities to view wildlife on the property. Amazing waterfall hikes. The staff were so caring and involved in our stay. They made certain that we understood the trails and where we were going. The Wild Fig restaurant was very good with several options each night. We stayed in a basic room. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. We had an amazing experience! If you are looking for an adventure in the rainforest, this is your place! Highly recommend!"
